Rich Turner is an established fine art and commercial photographer based in Stockton, California since 1974. Prior to opening his own studio in 1990 he was the Director of Photography at the Stockton Record newspaper for sixteen years earning numerous awards for news, sports and feature photography. Since beginning his fine art and commercial business in 1990 he has also earned awards for his advertising photography.

Recent exhibitions of Turner's fine art photography include: California State Capitol, Wallace Stegner Environmental Center at the San Francisco Public Library, Hutchins Street Square Gallery in Lodi, and was the Featured Guest Artist at the Tidewater Gallery in Downtown Stockton.

Rich Turner also is a frequent guest speaker at local service clubs, Delta College, Humphreys College, and has appeared at numerous Career Day events at local high schools and KOVR TV’s morning show. Rich Turner also teaches photography at the University of the Pacific’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

His fine art photography hangs in the A. G. Spanos Building, Trinity Plaza Medical Center, Health Plan of San Joaquin, Delta Health Systems, Lexington Plaza Hotel, as well as numerous private collections. He also has self-published two fine art print-on-demand books titled Delta Skies and Delta Drama.

In 1996 Rich Turner was the sole photographer for the 176 page book, Stockton, City of the Future, published by Community Communications.  In 2008 Rich Turner had photographs published in Stockton, Renewed, Revitalized, Redefined, published by Cherbo Publishing Group, Inc., including the front cover.
